I have a W910i and the buttons on the flap(the green button,the red button), don't work when it's down.only the arrows,the menu button,the back button work when it's down.and when it's up none work. Thank you very much

Instructions

1. • 1 Push the "Menu" button on the front or side of your Dell monitor. The button's icon resembles a miniature monitor. This will open the main monitor setting menu. Push the button again to exit the main menu and open the OSD menu.
     
   • 2 Push the "Down Arrow" button on the monitor to scroll through the OSD menu. Stop at "Factory Reset." Push the "Menu" button to open the factory reset menu.
     
   • 3 Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "Position Settings Only" to reset the monitor's horizontal and vertical screen settings. Press the "Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
     
   • 4 Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "Color Settings Only" to reset the monitor's red, blue and green color settings. Press the "Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
     
   • 5 Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "All Settings" to restore the monitor to its original factory settings. Press the "Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
     
   • 6 Push the "Up Arrow" button to select "Exit" to leave the monitor reset menu. Press the "Menu" button to exit the OSD menu. Push the "Menu" button again to exit the main settings menu.
     

Try to reset it
Scroll through the menu options by using the up and down arrow buttons located just under the "Menu" button. Scroll down to the "Setup" icon, which looks like a big cog. Press the "Auto/Set" button to access the Setup menu. Scroll, using the down arrow, to "Factory Reset." This setting is located at the bottom of the Setup menu. Press the "Menu" button on the right side of the monitor. This will bring up the On Screen Display. If nothing happens when the "Menu" button is pressed, press and hold it for several seconds to unlock the On Screen Display. Press the "Auto/Set" button to choose "Factory Reset" and then press the down arrow to reset the monitor.

Faded prints are possible due to following reasons.

1. Fogged red mirrors inside the Laser box
2. Alignment of the Laser Box
3. Calibration Problem
4. Cleaning Problem

I will guide you with simple steps first, if this dosen't work working with laser box is little tough & time consuming, hence will describe later.

To Calibrate the colors, Press the 'Green Button' in the front panel, use the arrow keys to navigate through menu.

Select 'System Setting' by pressing the green button again, navigate using the arrow keys and select the 'Calibrate Color', select green button to select and confirm to 'Calibrate Now'. This will take few minutes.

In addition to that, to clean the paper path, select the green button and use the arrow keys and navigate thru' menu and select 'Service'. select using the green button and navigate through menu and select cleaning option. This will take few minutes.

Try printing some documents and check whether you have fixed. If you have not got the original print quality, Let know to guide you more technically.

This should be an (LCD) screen. They are the ones that usually have this kind of problem. You will need to take it to have it checked if the problem is the VGA signal cable leading to the monitor. They will check if it is properly connected or has gone bad. It is very unlikely that the screen is bad. When this VGA signal cable goes bad it could result in a totally blank screen.

We had the same problem - I think it was reset when the power went off in a storm. Went to Yamaha website (http://www.yamaha.com/yec/faq/faqdetail.html?CNTID=206010&CTID=5009135) and found the following worked:

Assigning the receivers internal amp for Zone 2:

1. Set the remote control [SIDE SELECTOR SWITCH] to [AMP]. (Located to the right of the volume buttons on the Remote).
2. Press the [SET MENU] button on the remote control.
3. Arrow down to Manual Setup and press the [ENTER] button on the remote control.
4. Arrow to the Sound Menu option and press the [ENTER] button on the remote control.
5. Arrow to Speaker Set and press the [ENTER] button on the remote control.
6. Arrow to the EXTRA SP ASSIGN and select ZONE2
7. Press the [RETURN] button on the remote control to exit out and return to the Manual Setup.

cableman try this exactley to the "T" with the instructions in front of you. The procedure resets your monitor to factory settings. On step 13 use the factory setting on the right side menu block not the left. It may or may not work if you have a bad board or eeprom. 1. Using the Volume button (Remote or Monitor) turn the volume all the way down.
2. Hold the Menu button on the Monitor.
3. Press the Menu button on the Remote.
4. Press and hold the Volume button on the remote for 5 seconds and then release the Menu button on the Monitor. After this step the date will appear on the left side of the screen within 10 seconds.
5. Click the Menu button on the remote.
6. Click the Left Arrow button on the remote.
7. By using the Down Arrow button, scroll to Settings and then click the Left Arrow button.
8. Highlight "Eepreset" and click the Left Arrow button. (The monitor will turn off at this time)
9. Push the Power button on the remote, the unit will turn back on.
10. Click the Menu button on the remote.
11. Click the Left Arrow button on the remote.
12. By using the Down Arrow button, scroll to Settings and then click the Left Arrow button.
13. Highlight Factory and click on the Left Arrow button to select "Off"
14. Click Menu on the remote.
15. Click Menu on the remote.

To correct this effect, follow these steps: Turn the mode dial to PlayBack Mode (green arrow) and display the image with redeye. Press OK\Menu button. Using the arrow pad, navigate to MODE MENU>EDIT>REDEYE FIX. Press the right arrow key, START will display. Press OK\Menu After {BUSY} bar displays, a screen will display with an option to cancel or save the image. ? If the option [Go] is displayed, press the OK\Menu button. This saves a corrected version of the image. ? If the option CANCEL is displayed, than the camera was unable to correct the image. Press the left arrow key to exit. This correction may not work on all pictures. If you import the original image into Olympus Master software you can also apply the Red-Eye fix located in the Edit menu. This lets you precisely pinpoint the eye area and remove the red. It even lets you remove green or blue, which can occur with animals.
