I tried to do what you advised fo restore my aol toolbar, but I must be doing something wrong, because I still don't have it?

I do not see a toolbar icon when I open taskbar I do not see a toolbar icon when I open taskbar

Click start at lower left of your window. Window will pop up, find Control Panel and click on to open. In your screen now will be a bunch of options, not sure if you have icon view. You should see, "Taskbar and Start menu" left click on that and open. A window will pop up and at the top right you should see a tab "toolbars" Click on that and there should be a list of your toolbars. Click on(check box) of the one you want and click "apply" at lower right of little window. Exit Click start at lower left of your window. Window will pop up, find Control Panel and click on to open.
