The horizontal lines on the screen are virtually NEVER caused by a bad T-con board. These horizontal lines indicate a defective LCD panel (screen). The Screen has small ICs that become defective overtime and that it isn't fixable unless replacing the entire screen.

Your printer head - the ink cartridge in case of most HP deskjet printes, in most cases is defective and you need to replace it to have a clean print.

Check and replace its LOT {Line Output Trasformer}. It is faulty.

This is a problem with the vertical circuit that is usually a defective vertical IC. This part costs $10-$20 and is easily replaced. Sometimes there are capacitors in the same circuit that need to be replaced as well. Dan

what kind of monitor? Have you replaced the cable? Try the pc on another monitor. You need to see if it's actually the monitor or the video card. replace the broken or defective part.

hi there, one horizontal line means a vertical section prob., check some resistor with low value and a defective diode, possible ic part is defective. do some test and check up. ty

Defective ccd imager!! company will replace this ccd imager free of charge. Year 2002 up to 2005 released unit has a factory defect ccd imager. the company recalled those units and replaced with a stronger version of ccd imager ( they are still doing it). check it out.
