Help me find driver for my mass storage controller.
my laptop is TOSHIBA Satellite M200

    I have a toshiba satellite p205-s6267 laptop. My DVD will not work nor
    does windows recognize the dvd. Under device manager the mass storage
    controller has no driver. So I think i need a driver for the DVD to
    show up and work. I check toshiba web sites and boards to no avail. can
    someone please help

You can not use A300 drivers on a M200 laptop it will not work go to www.toshiba.com and down load the correct drivers for you model

I was able to find drivers for this device which turns out to be an SD Card reader built into the laptop. Here is the site I found it on: http://www.toshiba.com/tai/support/support_cons.jsp
You'll want to click on "Computers and Accessories" on the left hand side, and then select "Laptop Computers".
Upon selecting the correct model, I found all the pertinent drivers for my laptop.
The Category, which is the middle column on the drivers page, is going to be something along the lines of "Driver Flash Memory SD" Az.

PCI device drivers for Toshiba Satellite A100
Here's a link to Toshiba's driver download site. You'll need to choose the exact A100 model (there are several), then choose XP sp2 from the drop down on the next page, and it will give you the list of drivers for your machine.
