I am having problem with ipad 1. Its original IOS is 4.2.1 . Its jail broken with grenpois0n. yesterday i installed some source from cydia ( http://sinfuliphonerepo.com etc ) and secondly i tried to install the voice command thing so for that i did this through ifile Navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app Open K48AP.plist in a text editor or a plist editor Under the capabilities area add the following key: <key>voice-control</key> <true/> then it asked me to restart and when i did its stuck at the main apple logo and a wheel spins but doesn't go far :( i am so frustrated on this. Secondly when i connect it to computer it shows up as normal as i could access all songs, apps in i tunes in it and i pad logo in my computer as well where i can see al my pics problem is its stuck at apple logo. I tried to restore it by downloading IOS4.2.1 from flexiburns website. when i restore it , it doesnt as unexpected error 3194 or some thing in itunes??? :( i am soo freaked out plz help me out in this plz plz plz

Apple iPad recovery mode

With the ipad completely powered off (not sleeping) press and hold the home button, then onnect the USB to the computer. Continue holding until you see "connect to itunes" then release the button.
Open up itunes to see recovery mode.
Follow the instructions it presents.

How do I get cydia
If your iPad was properly jailbroken, Cydia is automatically installed on your device. If you do not see Cydia as one of the Apps, either it was never properly jailbroken or you accidentally deleted the app. In either case, go through the jailbreaking process again. Make sure your iOS version is supported by the jailbreak program.

Also, anytime you update your iOS version, you will lose your jailbreak. It's never a good idea to update iOS unless you know the new version is supported by the jailbreaking programs. Also, never update OTA (Over the Air) aka wirelessly. ALWAYS update your iOS by plugging your device into a computer and doing it through iTunes. Doing OTA updates sometimes has crippling effects.

Unless you used an original version of the PanGu tool, Cydia is installed by default with most all Jailbreak methods. I would recommend restoring the OS and then Jailbreaking again using PanGu (PanGu iOS 8 jailbreak tool pangu io)... assuming you're on iOS 8. Leave a comment if you're running an older OS.

on a 1.gen. pad it is impossible to install iOS6:
this model supports only iOS 5 !

- the processor is too slow....

How to install cydia on ipad
The only way to get Cydia application is by having your device jailbreak.
If you already have your device jailbreak, and you still do not see the Cydia; which would be due to an error on the device or the IOS version you used.
What you should do is re-jailbreak and from the options just tick on install cydia only.

How can I download .exe files onto my iPad Safari keeps saying it cannot download file
.exe files are Microsoft Windows Executable files, that can only run on Microsoft Windows. They cannot be run on the iPad, so Safari doesn't download them.
The place to get apps for the iPad is the App Store - have a search, there'll probably be something that can do what you need. Out of interest, what are you trying to do? I may be able to suggest an app.
