It would help if you can provide dishwasher make and model number.
I am assuming the inlet tap is open. Does this happen with all wash programs.

Smells like something is burning when turning on fan mostly when turning on heat. Also makes a gurgling noise. Can hear it and smell from interior of van

Check you coolant level(gurgling sound). A sweet smell is most likely a leaking heater core. Burning oil is valve cover gaskets.

Burning smell

The response by Lynnette is in reference to the power nozzle....if you are having this issue with the main unit, then it could be the armature is starting to go bad. Have your Rainbow in front of you and give us a call. We can walk you through some steps to narrow it down.

Gurgling noise in enjine

There's some air in the system somewhere. Park it uphill, cold, open the cap and run it and fill it at the same time.

Mine makes a bit of this noise sometimes. It runs fine and I don't worry much about it.-------------------------------------------------------

When the van is started i hear a gurgling noise like water running across the front of dash. At time after the van is driven and hot you can smell coolant smell under hood.

You have a coolant leak somewhere on your motor. Your coolant is low and you are hearing the air pocket being pushed through the system.

Whirlpool noise

Ok can you take the front panel of the washer off easily?

If you can look for the motor pump assembly. Start the washer with no load, turn the water level down to the small and fill with water when it goes into agitation does it make the noise? if not turn timer to spin and see if motor makes the noise.

One other thought, maybe the smell is coming from the dryer?

Let me know. I wont be on line again until Friday Sorry
