Pictures not opening well, wheniver i try to open it displays an X symbol, what could be the problem.

Maybe the sealing thing is stuck in the down position? It rests inside the rim of the drawer when it's operating...

Maybe the buttons are locked (this is a feature). Mine has a button with a lock symbol. Hold it down, and then maybe your buttons will work again?

The 06h indicates the unit is in delayed wash mode. Weird.

Try these 2 setps/

Go into Settings----->Accounts and Sync---->Tap Google----->Uncheck "Sync Picasa Web Albums".
Go into Settings----->Application Manager---->"All" tab----->Find Gallery and tap "Clear Data"

Check for a door open/unlock button or selection position on the main switches. Would help to know what symbols are displayed.

To delete. An album open the photos app, tap the " EDIT " toggle on the right hand corner, then tap the "no entry" symbol that appears and it will bring up the delete toggle...for a photo, open the photo and tap on it again and it'll bring up a " trash can " symbol on the bottom right of the screen, tap it

For deleting pictures on your Nikon Coolpix L20 please follow the instructions below.

1. Highlight the picture you want to delete on the monitor.
2. Press the delete button ( button on right bottom of LCD monitor having a symbol of an open basket )
3. A window showing YES or NO for erasing the image is displayed on the monitor
4. Use the multi selector switch ( UP OR DOWN) to select YES
5. Press OK
This will delete the picture.To exit without deleting the picture choose NO and press OK.

I have a problem in installing the software on the windows vista, I got a message saying "your current ActiveX controls could not be displayed" I changed the security settings to accept websites with unknown signatures but it didn't solve the problem. Please, do you have a solution to this problem!

It seems like you do not have a picture viewer associated with the image file format that you save the pictures in.
Did you try opening a graphics program and then opening the pictures from there?

Install IrfanView if needed, opens almost anything image related.

Copy the pictures into your computer, try viewing them there, do they open if not what happens?

The flash icon appears in the upper left corner of display or it appears as circled flash icon? If flash is open and appears a circled icon, then there’s a malfunction contact that don’t communicate to the camera that the flash is open. Your camera needs service! Be sure the upper part of the flash is unfolded, pointing directly in front of the camera (not downward), because the sensor is just in this second folder. If the icon is not circled, press the right arrow until only the lightning symbol appears (forced flash). Try a shot! If the flash doesn’t pops, then your camera needs servicing (burned or broken lamp or other malfunctions).

Try resetting the counter by pushing and holding the two rewind buttons simultaneously ( red symbols ), one on each side of the top cover. Then open and close the film door.
