Hi I bought a sony xperia x8 recently, I'm tring to connect to andriod market app which came pre installed. but when ever I,m trying to connect it gives an error message "Can't establish a reliable data connection to server". But at teh same time I'm able to browse other sites. I tried to install opera mine, which redirected to Android market. Again i was not able to connect to andriod market. I have not upgraded my phone OS. I'm still using andriod 1.6 version OS. Please let me know what has to be done.

Hi, i had this same problem with my x10 m p when i got it, if you connect to your home wirless with the phone this should work and allow you to start downloading (note: after the first 3 downloads it should work without wifi connection and do it on 3g), if this doesnt work go to: settings: applications: manage applications: market: clear cache. then hopefully it should start letting you download some apps
