Please check RAM memory size, it's recommended to have 1GB or more for video applications, RAM increase depends on how much your PC motherboard supports, and also a P4 processor or higher will do the job better.

Choppy Video? What do you mean choppy video? Is the video starting and stopping rather than playing continuous? If so, either you need more memory or the site you are watching the video from is slow. Also sometimes you line speed on the computer might be slow if you are watching the video online.

How does the video play if you played a DvD in your computer? If it plays the DvD without stalling, then your problem is more than like the site you are watching or the line speed as you stream the video.

When I try to watch any HD video in my browser, it becomes choppy

If you click a HD video on YouTube, just push the pause button. This will allow the video to download before you watch it. HD videos require more time to download from the YouTube server, which is why you can usually watch normal videos without pausing to wait for it to download.
Hope this helps!!

I Cannot watch any youtube videos without them playing slow and choppy. the sound seems to keep up but i cannot see any video. How can i make them play?

Hello!

It is question, what tipe of connection you have.
But if it with connection everything OK (dsl), you can try install a video codec, like k-lite codec 4.321, depend from system and parts of laptop,
or can be bad screen resolution ( more at PC desktop), or bad driver for grafik card.

Hey there, I have an Acer Aspire 7720. I checked in BIOS (v1.25) that only 8MB video memory is avaliable (out of 2GB), and couldn't change the settings. Could you help me solve the problem please?

dynamically allocated memory is borrowed from the system memory; ie, your GPU is using shared memory. Increasing the allocated VRAM is not going to increase your performance by much simply because this kind of video memory is so slow.

You might want to consider updating your graphics driver and checking your temps to make sure that the GPU isn't overheating.

I get this problem from time to time, I think it is a youtube issue with overloading the server, I wouldn't worry too much. You are not alone.....lol

Audio problem

You may be having a bandwidth issue. the best thing to do here is free up your ram. make sure you have all the extra programs that are running in backround closed down when on a video chat call. You want to make sure your not downloading stuff the same time aswell. Just have your video chat program running and try it like that to see if the audio becomes in sync. you also want to have a highspeed internet connection.
