Hello my name is Garrett Busack and I am trying to install DK My Amazing Human Body. I keep getting this error when trying to open up the program: "QuickTime could not be initialized, the product will run but videos will not play. The probable cause is a bad QuickTime installation. Please re-run Setup and re-install QuickTime." I uninstalled and reinstalled quicktime several times with the newest quicktime and quicktime version 2.1.2. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the My Amazing Human Body several times and I still get the same error. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I own the DK Multimedia "My Amazing Human Body" CD, version for use with Windows 95. I am unable to use it with my Windows XP operating system. I understand that you might offer an upgrade...

In your case..the fix is to run the program in compatibility with windows 95..
Insert the disk ..and after that if it let's you install it is great ..Install it ..and after that click on the icon (right ) choose compatibility ..and in there tick the case that says "run this program in compatibility mode for : " and choose windows 95 ..
If it do not want to install it at all ..repeat the same thing with the execution icon on the disk ..
Insert the disk ..than in my computer folder..locate the cd icon ...click right on it ..select compatibility ..than tick same case...to run it as windows 95..and will work ..
In case the feature is not available cause the program is on disk and can not accept properties changes...click right on the icon of the cd ....choose explore... and it will reveal all that it has inside..
Copy all files in another folder on your hard disk ..in a location of your choice ..Than the properties will be able to be changed..and repeat the operation I says ..Locate the executable icon ...click right /properties//compatibility ..and select to run in compatibility with windows 95 ..and there will be no more issues..

I am trying to run the "my amazing human body" cd-rom game. it says the sound software is not installed right or not working properly. we bought it new and worked once and now it wont. we have xp...

XP should be able to run it because they're backwards compatible with all Windows 98 software. Check your sound card in the Device Manager and verify the device and its' driver are installed. If not, re-install the driver for your sound card.

My copy of Amazing Human Body won't run on XP, and I can't find the patch. Could somebody help?

If you were able to install it, you may be able to go into the program's folder right click the exe, go into properties, and in one of the tabs there should be a run in 98/me/2000 compatibility mode, check that box, click apply and ok. If you can do that, the program should run properly.

That's all I can think of that might help.
