If you give me the model number I will find a replacement cord for you. The way I remove this cord is a pair of pliers and you have to "pull" the cord out of the roller if it is stuck there. Let me know how I can help

Remove the screws holding the 2 sides together and expose the wiring. Remove the remnants of old cord and replace with new one. Reassemble.

I accidently ran over the cord with my DW430R 5.2 Amp belt sander and it's wedged so tightly between the wheel and sander body and I can't get it out.

If you release the belt that would give you more room to get the cord out. When you releas the belt it brings the rollers together which loosens the belt.

I have and OLD bench 1

The local hardware store has brushes in all different sizes in a box, next to the switches, fuses, plugs, cords, tool type stuff. They are standard sizes, should be able to find them no problem. Hope this helps.

Power cord stuck in belt

Common problem, disassemble, get the cord out, get some new power cord, and re-terminate the new cord into the Sander, and reassemble. This usually doesn't do too much harm, looks bad though.

cordless is easier to use, but if you use the sander for a big job the cord models are better for due to continues power supply.
