Do you mean the cable to connect to your computer's USB port? You can purchase a wall charger that has a USB port. You can also purchase a cigarette lighter plug with USB port to operate/charge your player in your car.

You will need to contact Samsung direct. Unfortunately it costs $35 to have it assessed. If it was bought less than 12 months ago you can provide proof of purchase or a Stat Dec and confirm the place of purchase and the service centre will process it for you. Try a different usb port first, then try another computer (with a compatible OS, of course). If another computer will not recognize it, then the player is actually damaged.

The problem is with the battery or the USB cable.
Check the cable first if there is any damage replace it,if there is no damage then the problem is with the battery which is not charging get it replaced and ur problem will be solved..

When the YP-K3 2 gb device is plugged into the USB Port, the system says "Found New Hardware, Samsung YP-K3" which then switches to "MTP Device" and then fails on an MTP error. It seems to be searching for a driver, and cannot find one. H E L P!!!!!

well have had my k3 die on me once, pressed reset on the back and it worked again (this in the it doing nothing anymore case) as for the cgarging thing try it on another computer, when I charge my k3 at work it charges all day but I don';t get a full battery, at home I charge it for bout 2 to 4 hours to get full battery. I think it has something to do with ho many things u have connected to ur usb ports or how much output ur computer gives to ur usb, maybe it goes to like a lower voltage to preserve electricity, no idea how to change this but unplug unneccecary things.

Maybe you have a USB 1.1 on your computer. YP K3 will charge much faster on USB 2

2. The usb message is nothing - it is just telling you that you have a USB 1.1 hub but you well get better transfer speeds using a USB 2 hub, or you can connect it to a usb port directly
