I bought the Logitech Desktop Microphone 600 at Walmart and it doesn't work. When I plug it in, I get no input from speaking into it. It does not show up on the drop down list on my audio input settings. How do I get it to connect?

Try to talk with your lips touching the mic . If there is any improvement open the mic housing very carefully and bring the capsule as near as possible to the top part of the housing . hope this helps.
please keep the microphone a bit away from ur screen... its because, powerful electro magnets will be ther in the microphone... wen u keep it very close to the screen, the waves cause the fluctuation in the screen which wil shorten the life off ur screen
Go to logitech's website and look for the latest driver for your microphone:
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads
Install it, plug in mic, load audacity/garageband, or any windows recording application, and ensure the mic input on the application is set to the plugged in logitech/labtec mic. Ensure the input volume is set to a level that responds when speaking into mic. Press record to see if it picks up the audio.
Start on the Mac side by checking your sound input preferences. Do this by selecting under the apple pull down menu: System Preferences. Then get to the screen where you see all preferences icon's shown and select Sound. Once in the Sound preferences, select Input. Where is says "Select a device for sound input:" It is probably set to USB audio device since that worked for you. Look for Bluetooth Audio Device or similar name for your headset and select it. Speak into the h760 and adjust the input volume, you should see the input level go up when you speak. If not, your H760 bluetooth device is not properly paired. If your device does not show up, back up to the System Preferences page and select Bluetooth and follow instructions there. If that all is working but does not work in Parallels, inspect Parallels for Sound Input options and try to find your bluetooth device. Also check Windows sound input control panel to see that bluetooth is selected.
Hope this helps.
Try to go into your control panel, Audio, then select the microphone as input. Should work now, try into the sound recorder. start menu, all programs, accesoiries, entertainement, sound recorder. Have a nice day. Cren
Not sure the problem is in the driver. Just bought the microphone and probably don't know how to use it. My computer has a sound recorder but I can't get any audio? I think I just don't know what I am doing.
the tab in control panel...not sure what you're referring to changing... but make sure you change the sound input device from the default internal mic/input to the logitech
Yes, this mic does work well. Headset usually work the best, but I do know a few people who use this mic for their gaming.
