SOURCE: SADF Mode problem
Try turning off the machine, pushing and holding the utility key and turning it on, don't take your finger off the key. You should see a blank screen with one touch button on it saying Trouble Reset. Press it, if the machine doesn't reset itself turn it off and one again.

The Document Feeder has only 1 Malfunction code for any problem with it.
If opening and closing the front cover (while it is turned on) resets it and you can use the machine, dont worry about it.
The unit was prone to this false malfunction code.
If it returns very often, then get an engineer to have a look at it.
SOURCE: What about the code of 0500 in minolta
C0500 is a fuser heat failure code. This means the fusing unit (The assembly that gets hot and is located right where the paper exits the machine) is not heating up properly. This is most commonly caused by a thermal fuse failure.
Open the front door. To the left side there is a small cover held on with 1 screw. Remove the cover and with the machine turned on push the "trouble reset" button. This should clear the code so you can see if it comes back. Do this only once per 10 minutes!!!!
If the code comes back you will need a service technician to correct the problem.

The connectors on the PWB-B and Print head unit are not fully seated or excessive torque was used to tighten the two thumbscrews securing the Print Head to the machine. Also verify that the current firmware has been installed
