Southwestern Bell Freedom Phone, Model FM2552RT. Just replaced batteries on Sunday (daylight saving time) AND the phone was flashing. Brand new batteries, now the screen is blank. No manual. I also unplugged all the phones and replaced the batteries without the phone plugged in. Also, phone rang and the caller ID showed the tel #/info, but as soon as I went to check the info. the screen went blank. I called my phone Co. and while helpful, they did not rectify the situation. Suggestions? Thank you for help.

The date and time are set when you receive the first call after plugging in your phone.I have the owners manual if you need more help.

You dont activate caller id,when you get a call it shows the caller info,if it doesnt,check with your phone company to make sure you have caller id service.
