My screen is blue. says cable. i dont have cable and cant get the tv to do any chanel.

What is the make and model of the television? If it has a HDTV off air decoder then you can try this....A little trick i learned years ago. Get a paper clip and bend it into an "L" position and then insert that into the very center of where the cable goes into and then scan for off air channels. You will know if this is working when it says it found "x" amount of channels as it is scanning thru the channels. Give that a try and see if that at least gives you a picture... IF that works then you can get off air signal HDTV for FREE. And you might want to invest in a HDTV OFF AIR ANTENNA.. For free tv. Let me know how that works for you and then we can go from there.
