There's nothing special about the original power cord, so I'd go to Radio Shack and get it for $8

I have sound, but the microphones are not working

Read the manual is the easiest way to get it to work- check Mic volume and make sure the mic you are using is wired correctly. If it is a condenser mic, the JVC does not provide power to it so that could be one reason.

I have the same problem with my JVC XL SV22 cd player which I use for karaoke. Suddenly it developed a vertical roll in the words. i tried it on a different tv and same problem. What do you recommend? ...

Try switching from PAL to NTSC or from NTSC to PAL. There should be a switch on the back near your video cable connections.

Microphones do not work through player

1. Test Mic in another Amp. Switch may be off.
2. Mic Volume on SV-22 may be off - Turn up to the right
