Hello... sorry to hear you are having problems! First we need to determine if you have a factory aftermarket navigation system If it is factory, there is not very many options for you the consumer to do yourself. If you have an aftermarket radio (store bought) then find where the antenna is located. Most of the newer antennas are about 1 inch by 1 inch square. If it is on your dashboard, it needs to be routed to the exterior of the vehicle. Navigation is done by "line of sight" with the satellite. If it is blocked by metal under the dash or the under the roof of the vehicle then that would be your problem. If your antenna is outside the car, then you may have a break in the line which would require replacement of the antenna. All that I have spoke of is if you have an aftermarket system. Each aftermarket system is gender specific, meaning if you have a JVC headunit, then you will have to go to a shop that carrys or can get JVC parts. Maybe this helped! Good luck with your venture!

Sirius radio problems

I would do the following, hoping one of them works.

1) DISCONNECT the power to the radio and SiriusXM unit to "clear" it. Then reconnect and ask Sirius to resend signat.

2) Ask Sirius to UNSUBCRIBE that radio so it is deactivated. Then, have them reactivate and resend programing signal.

3) Be sure your car is outside under clear sky when Sirius sends the program signal.

4) It is possible the antenna cable to your unit is loose at the connections and/or damaged. A weaker signal may get your stations, but may prevent the additional Navigational signals. Have the antenna checked thoroughly and tested. If car is still under warranty, this should be a covered diagnostic/repair.

5) Finally, be sure the correct Radio Serial Number is being activated. If your radio works, that is one service. But maybe they are putting a wrong number by some chance into the system to fix this one? For example, you have TWO radios in TWO cars. Are they sending the turn on signal to the WRONG radio? Not as farfetched as you might think.

Good luck!

KEEP ON GETTING SEARCHING FOR RADIO SIGNAL

The tomtom traffic system uses either a 'O2 (White SIM) or Vodaphone (RED SIM). Service fluctuates between good and bad.
Contact tomtom support and ask for a replacement SIM card

I cant get my p168 cect to work it keeps sayin emergency and loosing service

The phone goes into this mode when it doesn't pick up a signal from your cellular provider. Because at&t mostly uses lower fequencies that this phone was not designed to use.. the phone will pick up a signal from another provider in case you need to dial 911 or something. you may want to take your phone in for service or upgrade your phone
