Can i invert my camera using the keyboard?

If you have the Sony software and are connected to the camera, click on SYSTEM on the ADMINISTRATOR page.

The SYSTEM SETTINGS page will appear. The 4th selection down is MOUNT, select either CEILING or DESKTOP.

If you are using another software program such as Blue Iris, the image format tool will let you flip left/right and up/down.

I need software for my laptop for a vivicam 5118

You don't need any software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My dad has a fuji finepix a500 camera. lately, he's noticed that some of the images on the screen are showing instead as a blue screen with "read error". how can we fix this/what has...

What happens on your camera is related to the pc modifying the image file, hence the camera can't read it as they use different formats to write and read the images.
Can you see the pictures stored on your father's camera on the PC? Because if that's not possible, then the camera has an internal problem and you might have to consider taking it to a repair shop, or even consider buying a new one.

Its showing just blue background on the screen wita mesage NO SIGNAL.

If you are trying to capture from a digital camcorder (tape), you have to use a firewire connection, USB does not work as stated in requirements.
Adding to what Walt said, firewire cables don't connect to a USB port. If you don't have a firewire cable, you need to purchase one. And if you do, don't buy a cheap one. Buy cheap, buy twice.

my wild guess is monitor 4 is bad.

How can i install my webcam without the cd?

Connect the webcam to the computer, acquire the software codecs from the internet sites of the camera manufacturers. Once arriving on the web site, observe the technical resolutions tabs to acquire software codes to be downloaded onto the computer for intergration before the camera becomes functional. The dowload of softwares from the network onto a computer are compressed to makes possible transmittion between computers also to save space. remember to decompress the software after dowloaded on the computer. Decompressing software is clicking to intergrate into the remaining files, also a second phase to the download once has arrived on the computer.

Wiring bath fan with Fan/ light combo. Want to operate the features on seperate switches. Have power wire Black/ White/Green. Each switch has own wire Black/White/ Green. In the unit there is a Blue/white...

If I understand correctly you are installing two wall switches.
Your switches are switch1 and switch2
Each switch has 2 brass-colored screws
If you have a double switch, see page bottom
And you are installing a fan/light combo with separate wires for fan and light.

Bare ground wires and green wires connect to each other and to green screw. A ground wire runs from fan/light to switch box where it connects to other bare copper wire and these wires will not be discussed.

Lets work from the fan/light down to the switch.

Blue-wire-fan connects to either brass screw on switch1
White-wire-fan connects to white Neutral (we'll talk about this wire as we go)

Black-wire-light connects to either brass screw on switch2
White-wire-light connects to same Neutral as White-wire-fan.

So you need 3 wires running from fan/light to your switch box.
One wire arrives at switch box and connects to brass screw on switch1
One wire arrives at switch box and connects to brass screw on switch2
One wire is the Neutral wire and it arrives at switch box and connects to other white wires inside switch box. Twist these wires together and cover with wire nut.

Now your white Neutral is connected to other white wires in switch box.
Each switch still needs another wire.

The Hot black wire from breaker box connects to brass screw on both switches

03fdf56.jpg
Pardon the crude drawing.
The switches would actually be located next to each other, but it was easier to draw like this.
Drawing shows 3 wires coming from fan-light to switch box.
The drawing shows the black and white wire arriving from breaker
The drawing does not show how the white wires are joined with a wire nut

If you have a double switch, with 2 switches stacked vertically.
The screw colors can be different.
Double switch could have brass screws on both sides, in which case your Load (fan-light) wires connect on one side of device, and your Hot from breaker connects to other side. It doesn't matter which side, but loads on one side, hot on other side.
Double switch could also have dark screw(s) on one side and brass screws on other side.
In this case, the black Hot from breaker connects to dark-colored screw(s)
And your Load (fan-light) connect to brass colored screws.

If you need more information, or if something is still confusing, answer back.

Internal memory is full

  • Don’t miss a shot if your memory card becomes full—switch to in-camera memory quickly, thanks to the internal memory plus feature
  • 16 MB internal memory[1]and SD/SDHC card compatibility lets you start shooting right out of the box
  • or
  • Connect your camera to your PC !!
  • Either you can go to ebay and buy youre self a usb lead that slots in to the camera on the right hand side, the other end slots into a usb on the tower, and you can then transfer youre data (pictures, movies)to youre computer, enabling you to delete all youre data from youre memory.Leaving you a empty internal memory.

Wireing

3-pair version of (red/green, black/yellow, white/blue). But the first two pairs are not twisted
So it becomes green/red, yellow/black, & white-black/blue. G1/ R2 /3Y /4B /5*Blk/6Blue (this is what you physically see on the other RJ11 connections since this is a data connection and not a phone connection it should be a straight-through instead of cross-over connection.
These RJ 11 PINOUT assignments may be incorrect because they apply to a color camera instead of B/W

1 SPEAKER (+)
2 VIDEO_OUT
3 GND
4 SPEAKER (-)
5 AUDIO_OUT/ALARM_OUT
6 12V DC

Clip up, contacts down

RJ11-e starts off like a RJ45 Stranded Patch Cable.
The color code used in stranded patch cables is different from solid-conductor cables. For NorTel Digital Patch Cable (DPC), the coding is; Pair 1: Green & RedPair 2: Yellow & BlackPair 3: Blue & *Orange White\Black
*In Pair 3 the color coding is Blue & Black instead of Blue & Orange and the pair is twisted so that the Blue wire is the 6th pin instead of the 5th pin.
