Hold the reset button (upper left button) until the seconds start to blink. To go to the hours, push the mode button (lower left button). To set the hour, push the ST/STP button (upper right button) to the desired hour. To go to the minutes, push the mode button again, set the minutes with ST/STP button. To go to the date, push the mode button, set with the ST/STP button. Once done, simply hit the reset button to complete. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much. I have been trying for weeks to figure this out. This posting fixed the problem in 5 seconds!
Thanks! With this, I was able to change the time on my wife's watch.
Has anyone had luck getting replacement instructions from Armitron? They don't have instructions for this model online, probably because it's a Sports Authority exclusive...
can anyone tell me how to set the day on the 45.7012
time displaying; press & hold top left button til value in time setting mode blinks. press bottom left button to cycle thru hour, min, year, month, day. when day blinks, press top right button to get to correct day. press bottom left button to return to time. press top left button to lock in time. you should now have showing: DAY OF WEEK, DAY ON MONTH, TIME. hope this works for you.
I tried that after I changed the time for daylight savings time to be over. When I put in the correct date it is saying Monday instead of Sunday!
Fixed the time but anyone know how to turn off the alarm?
Chris' post from August 2013 is exactly correct. There is a YEAR in the sequence of options. If the year is advanced beyond the current year, then the day of the week is incorrect. I cycled using the st/stp (upper right) button through the 20xx years and it started over at 2000 after 2099. Hurrah. Hours and minutes start over at 12/24 and 60, date at 30/31.
Also, to go from AM/PM to 24 hour with time displaying: short press the top left reset button to toggle the feature.
