I was downloading a clip from the internet where after my bb went off when i tried putting it back on it said app error 532 after which i reset it and nothing happened. i even took out the barttery and still nothing so please help me

you just check your internet connection you must get help and your problem also solved

That error message generally shows up when the is an application that is installed on your phone that has gotten corrupted or isn't compatible with your device. the first suggestion that RIM suggests is to do a reset. This is done by pulling your battery out for afew seconds and putting it back in. If that doesn't help and you can still use your phone try deleting the most recently installed apps and resetting after each uninstall. If you cannot use your phone then you will have to reset it to factory default and reload the software. There are many methods to do this. Some however and easier than others.

download a BB desktop manager ,install it and then connect your phone to the pc via the cable ,let the pc install the drivers o the phone be patient , your desktop manager will recognize your phone , there is one option name update device ,click on that and follow the instructions ur phone will be updated online and your prob will be solved , if u still need assistance mail me at [email protected]

Hi arisa2005 Listen you have what is known as a application crashes on your bb. 1 arep to fix this is to load the bb desktop manager on your computer if you have not done so already. Next step is to plug your phone into the desktop manager. This is improtant for you to do. must back up the data on your phone ad the application restore wipes out the phoen and then put is all the information back on the phone. If you don't backup your information it will wipe out your entire phone and you have to restore all your contacts. If your are on an enterprise server you will not be able to do this because your company has the phone lock and they will need to do the reset for you. this whole process could take 2 hours . hope this help

my phone went dead last night went i was in bed and when ive woke up this mornin ive put it on charge and the screen was white and said app error 523 reset so i reset it and it says uncaught exception:11 >11 and then went i press ok it just goes straight back to app error 523 .... and i need my phone :( how can i fix it without sending it off and paying for it?

I experienced the same problem sometimes last week,and a simple master reset restored my BB back to a normal working condition but unfortunately after trying all the solutions i laid my hands on,but, i was unable to get all my applications back.

It sounds absurd,but the only solution now is to download all your applications again from the blackberry sites,believe me it didn't take much time as i expected.so sorry.

I had this same problem it was from a third party application that I had downloaded. Go to blackberry.com, and select support and search your APP error it will walk you through a guide on getting it fixed--although your phone will reset back to default.

here is what you do, providing you already have Blackberry desktop manager on your computer... do not plug your phone in, but have the cable ready to connect quickly. make sure you are connected to the internet as well. go to the blackberry website or google 7290 OS update, download newest version (4.1 or newer), enter you service provider etc. (you have to do this before it will download), save it to your desktop. install it to your computer, then open BB desktop manager. now with the battery in your phone and the message displaying error 400 reset - push the trackwheel in and quickly connect the cable and select install applications etc on BB Desktop manager. click next and follow the prompts, it takes some time, but it'll be back to new again.
