Look
on the bottom of the unit. There is a hole with the letters ex and op.
Shine a light in the hole and you will see a white plastic object with a
slot for a slot screwdriver. You can turn this either way but be
careful. If you feel resistance and the object does not turn, turn the
other direction and the unit will open. Op is open. Ex is
exchange.
Another less elegant way is to open the unit's case, take off top cover and get your discs being held inside the unit that way. Be careful.
Of course you could take the unit in for service but may not be worth the cost.
