I cant make phone calls it says no sim card. I have a Iphone 3gs

If I'm not mistaken the iphone 3GS has a regular sized sim card.

Please restore and check the sim card cabin is ok or not and show it to a software enginer

u cant transfer it directly but u can transfer them to outlook and when u connect ur iphone to the pc u can choose to sync the contacts with outlook.

if its the older iphone models to the 3gs you can use a prepaid sim just pay for airtime

just get any ATT SIM and insert into device and restore device, that will resolve your issue. then after its activated just remove the SIM card.

Purchase a phone and data service plan for your iPhone through AT&T. This can be done in person at an AT&T store, Apple store or over the phone.

Straighten out one end of a paperclip and insert it into the little hole at the top of your iPhone. This will pop out the SIM card holder. Place the SIM card into the holder and reinsert it into the iPhone.

Connect the iPhone USB cable to your computer and phone. This should automatically open iTunes. If it does not, open iTunes manually.

Fill out the online form. You will be asked for your personal information as well as for the serial number of your iPhone.

Sync your iPhone with iTunes and your SIM card will be activated.

At the top of the iPhone you will see a small hole. Use a paperclip to push in the hole and the sim card try will pop out.
