To have more storage capacity for your phone, delete unimportant SMS in your INBOX, OUTBOX and SENT ITEMS. Delete also unimportant pictures, videos, music and ringtones. The phone memory is relatively small and is shared to all data and other files that are stored in the phone. By deleting some of these will free you some memory.
Alternatively, you can also put in a Micro SD memory card (Memory Card model depends to what your cell phone is compatible of, Micro SD is a sample) to your phone which will also increase its storage capacity. A Micro SD Card look something like the picture below.
HI You have to choose the simple way to remove the password in your , Follow the steps below...
Insert the memory card into the card reader or any mass storage device into your computer
go to the file <memorycard>:/system then find the file "mmc store".and rename the file to "mmcstore.txt" (Hidden file should be made as shown from tools->Folder option->Show hidden files)
Now open the file in notepad ,
No you will see the password.

As you told us you did updated the phone's software, so the phone itself should not have no problem after the update.
So obviously we must focus on the 2gb memory card that must have caused this problem. The card may contain some short of virus or is not formated properly for your phone.
Did you purchase the card in new condition? A quick advice could be:
1)back up your files in your pc. 2)then try formating your card.
