Re: My phone wont turn on i press the power button and it...
Attempt to take the battery out and make sure it is okay, as in clean, and not dusty. Leave the battery out for ten minutes or so, let it sit and reset. Put it back in and try to turn it on again.

Are you sure the button are okay? It could be that the button is the one thats broken. If not, its probably problem with the OS, you should restore the OS then
Soft reset by removing the battery, wait 20 seconds and reinsert.
If this does not solve the problem...
1. Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery to turn off your Merge.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
3. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
4. Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.
If none of this works, get a new phone, hopefully you have the insurance.
You will have to do a factory reset .This could have caused due to a software corruption which happened . Here is how you do it . note : you will loose your data ( not what is on the sd card ) Performing a factory reset using phone buttons
If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using buttons on the phone.
With your phone powered off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
While holding the volume buttons, press the END/POWER button briefly and then release it.
When you see a warning message on screen, release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
there are several reasons why it wont turn on, if you could post back with what happened to it before we can probably help you more. but you can try checking your charger first, if its working with other phones then charge your blackberry (dont turn it on) for 5-10mins, check if the battery sign is shown on the screen. it can also be a problem with the power button, if its not pressed down enough, try long pressing the power button too. or post back with more info =)
You could try to hard reset your device, in an attempt to sort your problems out. Be warned that a hard reset will set everything on your phone to their factory defaults, for what you'll loose all the programs you have installed, as well as your personal data. Anyway, to perform a hard reset, turn your phone off completely, by pressing and holding the power button, and, then, answering to the power off prompt. Then, press and hold the Volume Down, the Call, and the Power buttons, until the LED (at the side of the camera) flashes. Release the buttons. That LED should flash in green/red/blue now. When your device powers up, it should be completely cleared.
Hope it works for you, since this is completely theoretical. I have never done it myself. Regards, Carlos
