Is there a driver available that can down load from my JVC Everio GZ-MG130U to my Imac and eventually IMovie?

Connect it via Firewire to the Mac. Then open iMovie. It should auto-detect the camera and you should be able to play the content back to the Mac. You are then able to save it within iMovie and begin editing. It will only work with Firewire though...USB can't stream video from your camera to the Mac.

Because iMovie '09 does not support JVC everio gz-mg130u video files format, so you need convert your video files to .mp4 or .mov format that iMovie support.

I have a JVC gz-mg130u HD camcorder that willnot work in Vista
The short answer is that unless JVC have released a firmware upgrade to this model, currently its not support for use on vista.
