Hi, I usually suspect the MAP sensor when I see this symptom, but it can also be the throttle position sensor. Which engine do you have and is your check engine light on?

Dies at light

You may have a sticking Torque Converter, or your Overdrive may be locking up. Try stopping (somewhere safe) in Neutral, and see if disengaging your overdrive will make a difference.

Battery will stay charged

Have the battery charged and tested and then test the charging system. You should never run a car with a very dead battery. that will burn out the alternator.

Car dies when going over really bumpy roads

If the brake pedal goes hard right BEFORE the car dies, and not after, then you could have a problem INSIDE the brake power booster. try to verify this next time it dies at a stop, if you can safely pull the dead car off the road into a driveway (or try to make it stall in a bumpy parking lot) - then before you try to restart the car, open the hood, pull off the rubber hose where it's plugged into the brake power booster --> you SHOULD hear a big "Swoosh" of air being sucked into the booster because there's supposed to be a strong vacuum there even after the car stops running. if you get nothing there, your car is dying of an excessive vacuum leak through the brake booster.= bad booster.

Win i start it up it run fine for about2 miles then it start jerking missing bad and you have to give it gas to keep it from going dead. But win u get on the highway it will run fine you can drive 80mph...

it almost sounds like a transmission issue if its an auto trans, might be a torque convertor clutch solenoid stuck , try driving in 2nd or 3rd if it is automatic
