How can I block a caller from calling me. - Vtech Cordless 6041 Phone

By using truecaller you can block a caller or go to phone setting to block calls, open the Phone app, select Call History, tap the number, then select Block Contact or Block Caller. To block calls, open the Phone app, select Menu > Settings > Call Reject > Reject Calls From and add numbers. To block calls for numbers that have called you, go to the Phone app and open the Log.

Caller ID
If you subscribe to caller ID service, information about each caller appears after the first or second ring. If you answer a call before the caller information appears on the screen, it will not be saved in the caller ID log. The caller ID log stores up to 50 entries. Each entry has up to 24 digits for the phone number and 15 characters for the name. If the telephone number has more that 15 digits, only the last 15 digits appear. If the name has more than 15 characters, only the first 15 characters are shown and saved in the caller ID log. Review a caller ID log entry Press CID when the phone is not in use. Scroll to browse through the caller ID log. When the desired entry appears: Press repeatedly to show different dialing options. Press 1 repeatedly if you need to add or remove 1 in front of the phone number. Press or to dial the displayed number. Call block
If you subscribe to caller ID service, you can set the telephone to block unknown calls and certain undesired calls. The call block list stores up to 20 entries. Block unknown calls Press MENU when the phone is not in use. Scroll to Call block, and then press SELECT. Scroll to Calls w/o num, and then press SELECT. Scroll to choose Not block or Block, and then press SELECT. Add a call block list entry 1. Press MENU when the phone is not in use. 2. Scroll to Call block, and then press SELECT. 3. You would have to subscribe to that feature from your local phone company, then when a number like that calls they will get a recording that states you do not accept blocked calls...

There is no option on this phone to restrict the caller ID.

If the number is XXXXXX up as 'Restricted' then it can only happen if you dial *67 at the beginning of the number you want to call to block you caller ID information. Or, you can also call Verizon and have caller ID blocked for every number.

If this is happening for every number, then you will need to call Verizon and have them deactivate the caller ID restriction.

Only if you have that future, if not call your local provider and ask for call blocking.

"Call blocked" refers to the phone system caller ID name; this has nothing to do with the Fax function of the HP6310. Some callers block their name from showing up on your phone's call ID display.

this would be done if you put a request to your service provider.
