Dictionary.com offers a free translator where you can type in words and get the same word in many different languages. Just type what you see on the screen in the field of the translator and hit the translate button in order to navigate through the menu to change the language.
OR if you still have the user manual, im sure there are pictures of the phone inside that show the steps of changing the language and you can guess your way in?

Changing the language of your choice is not a great deal. Check the instructions provided below and know how to change the language to English.

If the display language is Japanese - what do you do to changeit to English? ... Same problem that others ...
Follow these steps to change language setting on the printer display :
1.On the printer control panel, press the Left arrow twice or the Right arrow seventeen times on the Menu button until SELECT LANGUAGE? appears on the printer display screen.
NOTE: If the language is currently set to a language other than English, the Select Language? menu option will appear in that language.
2.Press the OK button. 3.Press the Left or Right arrows on the Select Photos button until your desired language appears.
NOTE: Even if the printer is currently set to another language, the name English will appear in the English language.
3.Press the OK button to select the language. A message requesting confirmation of the selection will appear appears. If the correct language is displayed, press the OK button. If the incorrect language appears, press the CANCEL button and start the selection process again. 4.When the SELECT COUNTRY/REGION? setting appears on the printer display screen press the OK button to continue. 5.Press the Left or Right arrows on the Menu button until the desired country/region appears on the printer display screen. 6.Press the OK button to select the country/region.
Press the check button and the right arrow button in this combination: check, arrow, check, check, check. This should bring you back to the ready screen after a brief pause.

Upon powering on the machine for the first time, the LCD will prompt to
select a display language. If a language other than English is selected, the
setting can be changed by following these steps.
Ensure the machine is powered
on.
Press the <Menu> button
as many times as necessary to display [SYSTEM SETTINGS].
From the Copy mode
standby screen, press <Menu> 7 times.
From the Scan mode
standby screen, press <Menu> 1 time.
From the Memory card mode
standby screen, press <Menu> 6 - 12 times.
Use the right arrow twice to
select [OTHERS] and then press the <OK> button.
Use the right arrow three
times to select [LANGUAGE SETTING] and then press the <OK> button.
Use the right or left arrow
to select the appropriate language and then press <OK>. Choose from
the following language settings.
