Out of the box, no. To get GPS/Mapping/chartplotting features, you have to hook up a separate LGC-12S 12-parallel channel GPS receiver/antenna device which is sold separately.

My oce plotter 340 is error 22552

Error codes on Oce plotters, including the Oce Plotter 340, can indicate various issues. Unfortunately, I don't have specific information about error code "22552" for the Oce Plotter 340, as error codes can be specific to the manufacturer and model.
To troubleshoot the issue, you may want to consult the user manual or technical documentation for your Oce Plotter 340. The manual should provide information on error codes and possible solutions. If you don't have a physical copy of the manual, you might be able to find it on the manufacturer's website or by contacting their customer support.
In general, error codes on plotters can be caused by issues such as paper jams, communication problems, hardware malfunctions, or software errors. If the issue persists and you cannot find a solution in the documentation, it may be advisable to contact Oce's customer support or seek assistance from a professional technician who specializes in Oce plotters. My hp designjet 500 doesn't recognize the I/O Card

By I/O card I assume you are referring to your JetDirect or the optional HP/GL2 formatter board, your EIO devices?
If you have them installed and the plotter does not recognize them.
Shut down the plotter then remove the power cord from the plotter or the wall and wait 5 mins.
Remove ALL EIO devices (JetDirect / formatter).
Plug the plotter back in and restart the plotter.
Test functions of the plotter.
Shut down the plotter and then add back only the JetDirect.
Start the plotter and check the function, and check if the menu will allow you to setup the JetDirect.
If successful, shutdown again and reinstall the Formatter Card (if you use one).
Test functions and check the I/O setup in the menu.
The idea in a nutshell, remove the cards and add them back one at a time to see which one if any is bad and causing the I/O to shut off.
If this does not help, you may need to replace the plotters Electronics module

1. PEN NOT LIFTING. HOW DO I ADJUST PEN LIFT 2.PAPER SKEWS TO LEFT 3. NEED SERVICE MANUAL ON SUMMAGRAPHICS PLOTTER HI7200

Installing Pens

Most types of disposable pens must be activated before using the for the first time. If you are installing a new disposable pen:
  1. Press down on the pen cap to break the internal link seal.
  2. Holding the pen with its tip pointing down, shake the pen to start the ink flow.
  3. Remove the cap and test the pen for ink flow on a scrap of paper or media before installing it in the plotter.
Some types of pens require adaptor sleeves to fit the pen holders in the pen changer and pen carriage. Insert each pen into its adaptor sleeve, if required, before installing it.

Using the Pen Changer

You may find it easier to temporarily raise the pen changer arm to install pens. Press the widest part of each pen into the jaws of each stall in the pen changer. After installing all the pens that you plan to use, lower the pen changer arm until it latches into place.

Notice that the pen changer stalls are numbered 1 through 8 from right to left (viewed from the front of the plotter).

Note: Make sure that the pen changer arm is in its lowered position and latched into place each time you power on or reset the plotter so that the plotter will correctly change pens.

Operating Without the Pen Changer

For operation without the pen changer, position the pen changer arm in the raised position and install a pen directly into the pen carriage by pressing the widest part of the pen body into the jaws of the pen holder on the pen carriage. You can still produce multi-pen plots, if desired, by enabling the PEN PAUSE parameter--------------Online KeyThe Online key toggles the plotter between on-line and off-line operation. The mode is displayed with each key press.

The plotter is initally in the on-line mode at power-on. In the on-line mode, plotting operations are enabled. When media is loaded in the plotter and the plotter has been selected (see below), an on-line plotter begins executing plotting commands from the input buffer as soon as they are received from the host computer.

In the off-line mode, the plotter can still receive data into its input buffer if it has been selected, but plotting operations do not begin until the plotter is switched on-line. The plotter can be operated manually in the off-line mode using the following control panel keys:
  • Pressing the left or right arrow key moves the pen left or right.
  • Pressing the up or down arrow key moves the media in or out of the plotter.
  • Pressing the PEN SELECT key accesses a menu to select a given pen from the pen changer.
  • Pressing the PEN UP/DN key raises or lowers the pen.

Pressing the Online key during plotting switches the plotter off-line and suspends plotting.
Pressing the Online key again will cause plotting to resume at the point of suspension. ------------------Pen Up/Dn Key
The Pen Up/Dn key raises and lowers the pen when the plotter is off-line. If there is no pen in the carriage, pressing the Pen Up/Dn key causes the plotter to retreive the currently selected pen from the pen changer (if the pen changer is installed and is in the lowered position).

Note: After approximately two seconds of no pen movement, the plotter will automatically raise a lowered pen to prevent ink from bleeding on the media, until the pen is moved again. If the pen is not moved for the period set for the AUTO-CAPPING parameter , the plotter will return the pen to its pen changer stall. To restore the currently selected pen to its previous position on the media, press the Pen Up/Dn key or an arrow key. Pen Select Key
When the plotter is off-line, pressing the Pen Select key allows you to select a pen from the pen changer. After pressingPen Select, press the <-- --> keys until the desired pen number is displayed on the lower line of the LCD, then press the Enter key. The plotter will retreive the selected pen from the pen changer.

The Pen Select key is also used in the Configuration Menu,

Plotter mt871 will not communicate from computer to plotter

Try getting some generic drivers for plotters and see if they do anything... I would also suggest that you get a JetDirect card or something to interface the Plotter with your network, this should take any misscommunication away.
