It's generally part of the water collection container. It will look like a garden hose connection. But, their is a plastic knockout that will have to be removed. If it's not part f the container, remove it and look in inside the cavity where the container was, for a hose connection like I described above.

Hope this helps solve your problem.

I don't see a place to hook up a hose for continuous run into the sub-pump pit. I removed the drip pan and still don't see a place to hook up a hose.

On some models a separate extension tube gets installed through a knockout on the back panel. The extension tube fits into the part where the condensate drips into the pan; the opposite end has threads for a hose. This tube (if applicable to your model) should have been in the box with the unit. There isn't any information on the brand or model you have. Looking at the instructions for your model should also provide an answer. If you no longer have the instructions, turn the unit on and try to locate where the condensate drips into the pan. The hose would have to connect from there.

Unit keeps cycling off and on with the "bucket full" light blinking

It appears as if the water may not be flowing through the hose.
* When you use a hose the unit must be located near the drain. If the hose is to long the water will not flow freely and cause the water to back up in the hose triggering the bucket full.
* If the unit is lower or the hose runs up hill even the slightest incline will cause the water not to flow backing up to the machine
* Hose must remain flat and in a down hill flow to the drain if you are running a longer hose than recommended. If you are have a long distance to run the hose elevate the dehumidifieer by placing it on a stand, milk crate, anything that will hold the unit. Be sure it is large enough and strong enough to support the unit to prevent it from falling. This will help siphon the water from the unit and prevent any water to back up the unit.
* If your using an old hose make sure there are no kinks and water flows freely through the hose. Any kinks or type of pinch in the hose will cause the water to back up

I hope this helps resolve your issue. This is the most common mistake when using a hose.

Where can I get hose ,hose attachments for my Goldstar dehumidifier? Can not locate my manual or attachments.

Fortunately, it doesn't require a special hose, as a standard Garden Hose Connection is on the left side of the water collection bucket. You may have to carefully drill a 1/4 " hole in the center of the connection, once you unscrew the drain cap. The hose should be no longer than 5' , as the drainage relies entirely on gravity to drain.

When attaching the the hose, be sure that the female hose connection has a washer in it or it will leak. Hand tighten the hose connection firmly, being careful not to crack the plastic hose connection on the tank. Also, be sure that the float valve in the tank is in the DOWN. position or the unit will not run.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know.

How do i make it continue to run with no bucket so it does not fill and and so i don't have to empty it

Attach a length of garden hose no longer than 5 feet, to the threaded drain hose connection that was supplied with your unit, to carry water to the drain.
1. Remove the drain-hole cover on the back left side of your unit.
2. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
3. Push hose connector tightly to the drain-hole on Rear Grille with the arrow on the tab pointing UP.
The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting.
Do not over tighten the hose when connecting it to the hose connector,
use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the
plastic threads.
When being attached to hose connector drain hose connection,
do not bend or kink the hose. The hose should lie flat from the
dehumidifier to the drain.

Where does the hose attach? Do you have an instruction manual. I cannot locate the instructions that came with the dehumidifier.

my hose connects to the drain pan, there is a hose fitting but you will have to knock out the plastic block first. Mine is not same as yours but they are not all that much different.

I have a lg lhd45elt8 dehumidifier i bought used i want to hook up the hose connection i see on the back a plastic chip that needs to be removed and the hose pipe is just inserted? then connect a drain...

I own this dehumidifier. To connect it to a garden hose for drainage you first need the special connector pipe/adapter that comes with the unit. It's white plastic and about a foot long, It may be stored in the top of the bucket drawer, where it ships from the factory. Your hose connects to the threaded fitting on one end. The other end is inserted into the hole in the back of the unit. You slide it straight in until it mates with a drain connection inside the unit. You can see this black pipe connection if you pull the bucket drawer all the way out and look in the very top right hand corner of the opening of the unit. Once the white tube is fully and correctly inserted you'll find two plastic tabs on the tube near the hose connection. The larger tab points straight up and blocks the tube from being inserted too far. The smaller tab points down and hooks into the slot in the bottom of the round opening to keep it from getting knocked loose. Your dehumidifier should now drain through the hose instead of into the bucket. Of course, be sure your hose is routed across a floor to a drain or sump pump located lower than the unit, since the water flows by gravity.

Will not drain out of the hose i have to keep emptying the pan i thought it was suppose to drain out of the hose to keep running

If the hose is connected to the tap on the drain pan/bucket, did you knock out the center of the hose connection on the bucket? If you didn't that's the problem. If that's not where your hose connection is located, do not put the bucket back in. It triggers the unit to fill the bucket and not use the hose drain. Keep in mind the hose must remain lower than the connection on the dehumidifier to drain properly.

I have the hose hooked up to the back but it keeps filling the tank and shuts off when it's full ,how do you just use the hose to drain

I believe you have to put a plug to drain that drains into the tank ,then it can only drain out the hose.

LG LHD45EL Dehumidifier

Push through the membrane with the drain connector. The membrane has a circular cut almost all the way through it, and pushing at it with the drain connector will pop out the little hole. I've done it with four LG units.
