Virus got spywear ,avast too good but now i got a virus and in the middle of my screen words in a box saying i got a a virus did a scan with spywear says it ok did the same with my avast stil says good but om my desktop i still got them words in that box help

SRPTM is a virus, if your antivirus can't remove it, maybe you should try another one. Try avast, it's free and very good.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Clean Up > tick all the boxes except Downloaded Programs > OK > Yes > OK

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk defragmenter > Highlight C: > Defragment.

If you install Avast you will have to uninstall your current antivirus.

Here is a good way.
1. Install Avast Antivirus from here. CLICK HERE 2. Run Avast antivirus and update it to latest version and definition. 3. On the Avast antivirus window click on SCAN COMPUTER on the left. 4. Click on Boot-time Scan right below SCAN COMPUTER. 5. Set Boot-time scan parameter to All harddisk 6. Click on Schedule Now 7. Save all your work or whatever you are doing before restarting 8. Click on Restart computer.
so when you boot your computer Avast Anti-virus will run before windows so it is a good way to delete viruses.

Remove any previously installed Spyware programs / download Malwarebytes Anti malware update off internet / disable Antivirus program and install.

Go to safe mode and access Malwarebytes / run through and remove all offending programs. Run a couple of times. Then reboot and run in windows.

Possible Virus and Malware

I suggest running a full system Virus scan with AVG or AVIRA both you can get for free. Remember to uninstall your current virus software before you install new or you can crash your system. Once you have completed the virus scan. Restart. If any virus's were found run it again untill there are none reported. Pain I know.... once you have no reported virus's then run combofix...I guarantee this will fix your issue.

First u reinstall all the spyware software. Install PC doctor and clean all the spyware. This is the best software i think....Or u check with best antivirus. ok. (NOD 32 is very best for anti-virus/anti-spyware). ok. check out.

Ok then i guess you should try repairing the NORTON by running the installation again and choosing the reapir option or the next option is to use another anti virus.

please restart your pc before installing the avast.
after installing try updating and schedule a boot scan by

1. cutting and pasting this "W62911071H4800A1106-PJY5XRR5" when prompted for the registration key.
2. click on the menu icon at the top left of the avast window.
3. click on "schedule a boot scan" and restart your pc

If the app is a 16-bit app, change the compatibility to run with win98 or nt.

Right click the app, select properties, on the compatibility tab, you will have the title "Compatibility mode" under this you will have to check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for: you will have a drop down menu select the os say win98/me. which is a 16-bit OS, click ok. Now run the program.
