SOURCE: Everything freezes in the refrigerator
Your damper that controls the air to the fridge side is stuck open. It can be caused by moisture getting on it and freezing it so it wont close or by a failure in the electrical circuit that controls it. There was a service bulletin from about 3-4 years ago about defective control assemblys. I have replaced several and as far as I know Frigidaire is still replacing some of them for free if they fall under the model and serial numbers that were affected.
You can tell if it is frozen by turning the controls off and thawing the damper at the upper left rear of the fridge section with a hair dryer.. After you have it thawed out, turn the controls back on and you should hear the damper door motor running. Keep your thermometer in it and check it after a while and see if it shuts off before it freezes.
Post back with the complete model and serial numbers and I will try to locate the service bulletin at my shop computer tomorrow.
Water dispensing solenoid is bad. You need to replace the solenoid valve. This typically is independent of the ice maker.
SOURCE: Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator, evaporator fan not running
As insignificant as it may seem, that evap fan motor is as important as petrol in a car. That fan controls the fridge cooling on many fridges and circulation in tha freezer compartment. Replace it with the correct one and you should see a functional fridge/ freezer again. Note, i wouldnt run unit without it for long, as condensig temperatures run high and compressors dont last long.

Hi, If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.
Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Hello Wally, thanks for your post!
Based off the information you have provided you would like to know the location of the water line inside of your Frigidaire refrigerator. The water line is located within the wall of your refrigerator it is not accessible. The best way to clear out a frozen water line is to disconnect power from the refrigerator for at least two to three hours. This will help defrost any ice build-up within the refrigerator. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
Good Afternoon friend, thanks for your post!
With a French door refrigerator the water will come directly from your tap. If you would like to have the water colder you may need to run your faucet to allow the water to become colder before getting from your water dispenser. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is not producing enough ice. I would advise to check and make sure that your water filter has a secure connection, if need be uninstall and reinstall the water filter to assure connection. Your filter should be changed every six months, if it is has not been changed recently I would recommend exchanging it.
If you continue to receive low ice production it could be an issue with your water line or water valve, I would seek assistance from a professional for proper diagnose and repair of your appliance. I hope this helps. -Matt
Hi friend, I appreciate your post!
I see your question is labeled under Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHB2844LF, and you are having difficulty engaging the water filter. Based off that model you should be able to push on the face of the water filter and slide the old cartridge out. First, to install the new cartridge you would need to remove the caps off of it. Secondly, using the alignment guide slide the new filter into the housing until it stops against the snap-in connector. Thirdly, push firmly until you hear the click which indicates that your filter has been engaged. Lastly press a glass against the water dispenser to verify no leaks are present at the filter housing. Hope this helps. -Matt
