We have Minolta Ep2010, It is showing error cof e8, how to solve this

Do you have two trays or four trays for the paper? If you have four and the display is showing the bottom door is open... turn the copier off and disconnect the bottom two trays and turn it back on..... Just use the top two paper trays.. Or the problem is that a acturator is broken off the side door, look for any broken pieces of plastic. Also, recheck for any jamed paper left in the copier.Good Luck

I suppose you worked with the cyan low toner attention untill the machine stopped. in this case you should make an ATDC sensor adjustement! but firstly you should reset the error!

Before doing above open and close the front door. The code is for the Auto Toner Density Control the black image unit if it comes back after opening and closing the front door the image unit needs replacement. You can't change the developer it is all one unit. the fuser has a different code 500 series. Dont mess with gain let machine run stablize.
