My outdoor pictures are very very pale, almost white with stripes across the entire photograph

This problems very exspensive to fix.The Light projection Engine have a problems,with a IC design flaw.This problems happen to many Big screen tvs 65 and up have a design IC flaw by many companies like Sony,Mitsubishi,Toshiba and Samsang.Call up Mitsubishi make some kind of deal with them to help u to fix the Light projection Engine by replacing the IC or replace the whole entire Light projection Egine.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

Hello sir; Is the stripes allway in same place and you use document feeder to copy, then you have to clean up a piece stripe glass on the plateform, otherwise ,you have to change drum cleaning blade or drum cartridge.

It sounds like the black drum unit needs to be replaced.

shutter is sticking so it over exposes photos . will need shutter or lens assembly replaced. it will have banding stripes in low light and white in bright light.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

The sensor chip on which focused light falls has a failed connection. The image is 'read' via a matrix that is scanned to retrieve the image and one of the paths of this matrix is broken.

what model set do you have. Sounds like the green crt or drive circuit. List the model number and I may be able to help you.

This is caused by a stuck shutter. Since the camera is under a year old it is still under warranty.
