You can check on the amount of free space by connecting your MP3 player to your computer.
Click on My Computer and the right click on your MP3 device and then click on Properties.
Both the total capacity and free space will be displayed.

Here is the manual:

http://www.curtisint.com/html/custservice/manuals/SYL_SMPK4077_EN.PDF

On page 11, the manual states that "The number displayed represents total memory capacity and the percentage refers the capacity used."

Good luck from Detroit, MI

I tried turning my mp3 player on and it said "invalid memory, cant find MBR"

Invalid MBR = Invalid Master Boot Record.
This means that your player Flash Memory drive is corrupted and unfortunately may need to be reformatted if you cannot repair it using some Disk drive or Flash drive utility.
You can try to use 'Properties -> Tools -> Error Checking -> Check now' to fix the issue.
If you have a backup of the music on your player, I would simply use Windows Explorer and FORMAT it using FAT32.
Hope it helps.

Cant send txt msg ,says memory full close app

This means the memory can't take anymore information in such as contacts, inbox messages. If you see that this problem is caused only in Inbox of the Mobile ( As you said it is doing it during sending Message, and sending message requires Inbox space ), then the problem is in the memory card. Also go into the File manager ( Menu > Tools > File Manager ) and from there to Phone Memory options and to Memory Details. There must be a very little left space. Check it and reply me.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

I have a thump 512. Want to add music to the 25-5 MB (on average) songs on it in MP3 format, but when i drag new songs to it, it says it has no space left. I deleted a couple of songs, but that didn't

That's because no offence but it has rubbish memory. 25mb is nothing these days. Most songs are 9-15mb themselves these days, and so no wonder you have no space left.

My Sansadisk want let me add music to it.

You are attempting to add music to the disk function on your device make sure it is on the mtp function so that all of your memory is avalable. this is done when you dturn it on and then hook up to your computer. You'll figure it out I did the same thing a couple times - Good Luck

No more space

Try to scan the anti virus, maybe there's some virus that can corrupt when you are adding some songs. If you check it and was not found yet, there's a possibility that your memory have a problem.
