Is the speaker system set up in Windows as a 5.1 speaker system? If so, the problem with the sound is the program used to play the audio. For example if you are watching a movie and the player used does not support 5.1 then it will not play the audio properly. If the sound works correctly playing a game in 5.1 you should be able to figure it out from there.

BH7520TW cordless rear speakers not working

if you having this problem when playing music, this is perfectly normal 'cos music only gets played through 2 speakers (2.0 audio format)..if this happens when playing a movie, you have to check if the movie (through the disc menu) is in 5.1 audio format which is surround sound through all the speakers..

Center speaker isn't playing any music, when I check to see if windows is registering it I can hear sounds coming from everything but the center and subwoofer (not sure if the subwoofer is suppose to make...

The Center and the subwoofer are on the same cable so most likely it's unplugged or damaged. Replace the audio cable of the two with one of the other 4 speakers' and text again for any sound. If it works then all you need to do is replace that cable.

The speakers wil not play on the background and the center.

If you connected to a 5.1 surround card and checked and they are connected ok you can hear all the speakers when you play music, movies that are in 5.1 format only. If you want to hear also all of them if you listen to stereo movies/music you must set the sound card to emulate multi channel. Also the player you use to listen music/wath movies must be set to 5.1 and must accept Dolby Digital/ DTS decoding if your sound card doesn't(eg. VLC media player-has integrated DD and DTS decoding and codecs for all tipes/formats).

Rear and center x-530 speakers won't work

Don't worry, to use a 6ch speaker like yours, first you need to configure your PC sound ports.
  • Go to
  • Control panel>sound and audio devices>press advanced button (the bottom one)
  • Now select 6 channel mode from the drop down list
  • Press ok
  • Now you are ready to go.
  • Now connect your speakers to the three pins on the back panel of your PC.
  • Test with some music now
  • You should here sound from all speakers.
Tell me what happened.

Panasonic Home Theater SC-PT760

This is not a problem, this means that your system is working. Polar Express was recorded in Surround Sound with separate tracks for each speaker channel. In most movies you will find that the rear speakers will only play certain sound effects so that it appears they are coming from behind you (gun shot, train, fireworks). Most of the diaglouge will come through the center channel and music/effects through the front left and right, with bass coming from the subwoofer.

Now, you can still hear more from the rear speakers if you like this enveloping effect, or if you like your music coming from all directions. There are Sound Effects options to have the front and back speakers always playing the front track, there is Dolby Pro Logic II that turns stereo sounds (like many TV shows) automatically into 5.1 Surround Sound, and you can also individually change the volume of each speaker.

These are all explained on page 29 of your owner's manual under Sound Options. If you need specific button to button help, let me kow.
