Why does exclamation point orange light flashing on HP Officejet 7110?

Hi,
The lights on the front of the HP product can be on, off, or blinking (flashing), depending on the status of the product. The lights indicate product status and are useful for diagnosing printing problems.

My hp laserjet 1300 printer shows blinking the orange light instead of the green one and I couldn't find out what is the reason

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

Damage canon printers, can be identified from the number of lights blinking in orange. So, you calculate, how many times the orange light is blinking. Example E2, E3, E4, E5, E8, E9, E13, E14, E15, etc.

I have a Lexmark X2690 that came with my PC (HP Pavilion Labtop) in July 2008. I hardly use it, but, when I do, I am always unable to print, most likely due to one or more of the following errors that I...

The light indicates either a paper jam or a problem with your cartridges (probably due to low ink or faulty). To identify and fix this issue, please follow the steps below:
  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
  3. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  4. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path or the paper path.
  5. If cartridge area is clear, close the cover.
  6. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power outlet to reset it.
  7. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.
  8. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.
  9. If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.
  10. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new cartridge.
  11. If there's no indication of any problem, try to print a document again.
If problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

I can't print and I have an orange flashing light on the right side of the printer. Whay does this mean?

Issue: The Power light is on and the Resume light blinks

In this error condition, the following light pattern displays on the product control panel:

•Print Cartridge status light : Off
•Resume light : Blinking (orange)
•Power light : On (green)
Causes

??¦The product is processing a print job, or waiting for the ink to dry on a document.
??¦The product might be out of paper.
??¦The product might have a paper feeding issue or a paper jam.

There are several possible solutions. To work through these suggest you follow the illustrated on-line guide found here.

If these solutions did not fix the problem, have the printer serviced.

2.pressa nd hold the power button for 20-30 seconds
3.reconnect the power cable to the printer
4.power onn the printer

if still nothing happens
try with a new set of ink cartridges and if it works call HP toll free number and they shopuld probably replace the cartridges for you if the cartridges are in warranty and they have sufficient ink in them and even after replacing the cartridges the printer does not work they should replace the printer if the printer is in warranty
