MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

How can I read a book on mij gogear philips?

Unfortunately, your Philips GoGear Portable video player SA6045 doesn't support audio books. But it does play books that are in MP3 or WMA format, it does not support navigation through chapters or bookmarking.

So you need to convert them into MP3 or WMA format and you can listen to them.

Hope this helps..

Trying to transfer downloaded book from library

It depends what format you downloaded the book and from whom. There are tons of readers ect. Also wma means it must be an audio book. For example mobipocket will let you download books but you need the mobipocket reader to view the books. Others you can't transfer because of copyright ect.

How do i play my audio books from audible.com

You have to make sure that your audio books are in an mp3 or wma format. If they aren't - you will have to convert them which is a fairly simple process.

Cannot play wma audio book on mp3

Audiobooks in WMA format have a restrictive DRM-license that does not allow their use on certain types of mp3 player. To use the WMA file that you already have, you will need to use an illegal DRM-stripper such as Tunebite - but, that's illegal.

You will have to stick to audiobooks that are in mp3 format - and even then, there are a few asterisks - you may not be able to resume where you left off without fast-forwarding. But at least you will be able to play the file.

Transfer WMA files to Sansa c250

There two types of WMA file - protected and unprotected (also called "DRM-free" and "DRM-encrypted"). Some protected or encrypted WMA's may allow you to play back on your computer, but will not allow you to play those same files on an mp3 player. There are only two ways around your problem - one is expesnive, and one is illegal:
1) You can purchase additional rights on Overdrive to transfer your audiobooks to a "portable device" (by which, they include mp3 players).
2) You can download a program such as Tunebite to strip the Overdrive of it's DRM license, rendering the file of its protection (I would NOT reccomend this route).

The WMA files that you had that worked before were either unprotected, or were protected but had transfer rights.

Audio book download

The RCA Opal supports Audible audiobook downloads almost exclusively. You can transfer audiobooks that are in mp3 or wma format, but they will not play like regular audiobooks - they will play as one continuous file. I would use Windows Media Player to transfer the audiobooks to the player, but you can drag and drop using Windows Explorer also.

Philips GoGear SA3245/37

Those WMA's have a particular DRM-encryption system that the player does not recognize - they have play rights, but no real transfer rights. Convert the files to Mp3 format using Media Monkey and you will be fine.
