Well this is a tough one, you'll have to do a zero-fill procedure to the HDD, I recommend you to download this software, install it then run it from the start menu, be careful to choose the right HDD, you'll easily know which one is it by comparing name and model of your WB HDD in the software with the name and model of your external HDD, click on continue and click on the 'low level format' tab, wait until the HDD is completely formatted, then you can reformat your HDD using the command mmc in menu > start > run this will open the microsoft management console, which will allow you to choose the HDD with no partition, right click on the HDD and click on format, choose your formatting options or leave it as is if you don't know what you're doing, anc click on accept, wait for the formating tool to finish and you're done, you'll be able to see your hdd again, the only thing is you'll loose all the data in it... have a nice day
Since you said you are unable to access it from any of your computers might external HD might have crashed. The only advice I can give you in this case is to remove any power to the device, then plug in the USB first then the power, see if the computer detects it. If not reboot the computer and test
