What channels are you able to receive? When you press the Select button on DISH remote, which light on the top of the remote lights up? The Sat button should light up when you are in satellite mode. If any other button lights up, press and release the Sat button and then try changing channels. If this doesn't work, we may need to troubleshoot with you. Please call us on 1-800-333-3474 and speak with Tech Support. I hope this helps.

Cannot scan for channels on remote

The remote model number doesn't help directly. This remote controls several Sanyo TVs including the DP46142 and DP32242. Manuals Lib has the owner's manual (copyright 2012) here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Sanyo-Dp46142-77711.html . Press Menu (below and to the left of the arrow keys). Select Setup (the icon that looks like a satellite dish) using the left/right arrows. Press the down arrow and go to ANT/Cable setup. Press OK (in the center of the arrow keys). Use the left/right arrow keys to make sure that the Ant In line is set to Antenna. Press OK. Go down to Auto Setup and press OK. Choose from All Channels, Analog Channels and Digital Channels and press OK again. Select Apply and press OK when the scan is finished. (All channels and Digital Channels will work the same way since most analog channels are no longer broadcasting.) See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/306779/Sanyo-Dp32242.html?page=22#manual . Note: digital channels will not display if the signal strength is low. You may need a different antenna or a different antenna placement. See antennaweb.org or tvfool.com for suggested station transmitters.

I hope this helps.

(note: the physical buttons on the TV should work to navigate the menu. Use the channel buttons for Up/Down and volume for left right. The OK button is the Input button.)

How do I tune in my TV LE26R73BDXJXEU AEL53SDL704282P AM01

First, make sure that the source is set to TV. (Use the TV button at the top left of the remote to ensure that the TV is being controlled by the remote. The Source button is the one to the right of the Power button on the remote. It's the top button on the side of the TV. ) Next press Menu. (On the remote, it's the button to the upper left of the arrow keys. It's the second button from the top on the TV side panel.) Use the Up/Down arrow keys to navigate to Channel. Press Enter. (Note: the channel buttons at the bottom of the side panel buttons match the Up/Down arrows of the remote. The Source button on the TV is the Enter key.) Press Enter again and use the Up/Down arrow keys to highlight your country. Press Enter. Navigate to Auto Store and press Enter twice. Wait for the TV to go through the channels and test for signal.

You can also add channels manually by using the Manual Store option. If you know the channel number, you would then choose Channel and select C (over-the-air) or S (cable) and then the Right arrow key. Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired channel. Press Enter. Use the arrow keys to select Store and press Enter again. Otherwise choose Search. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a channel. Press Enter, go to Store and press Enter again. Repeat this for each channel.

The manual for the LE26R73BD is available on the support page: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/LE26R73BDX/FID/ . The current link to the manual is https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200603/20060325173246984_BN68-01007A-00Eng-0302.pdf.

I hope this helps. If you use a set top box with a non-RF coaxial cable output to the TV, the channel option will not be available.

What's the imput button or code on remote for ten year old TV. Model #14MS2331/17

According to the manual for the Magnavox 14MS2331/17B, you switch to the A/V input by pressing Ch+ or Ch- on either the TV or the remote until you see AV as the current option. (Thus you have to scroll down from Channel 2 or up from Channel 69 for an OTA signal. For cable TV, the AV will be reached by Ch - from channel 1 or Ch + from channel 125.) See page 3 (7 of the PDF) here: http://download.m4c.magnavox.com/files/1/14ms2331_17b/14ms2331_17b_dfu_aen.pdf .

Since it is possible to skip channels by editing the channel list, you may need to check if the AV option has been skipped. To do this, press Menu. Use the up/down buttons to navigate to Install and press the right button to enter this menu. Highlight the Channel Edit line and press the right button to check this. Once in this sub-menu, use the left/right buttons to scroll through the Channel number options (or use Ch+/Ch- to see the stored list). You can also type in a channel number on the remote. Press the down arrow to change to the line that reads Skipped. Use the left/right arrows to change between Yes or No. (No indicates you can reach the channel with the Ch+/Ch- buttons.) Use the Up arrow to return to the channel number line to scroll to other channels. Press Status/Exit to leave the menu system. See page 10 (14 of the PDF) for details.

I hope this helps.

Can select channel by entering the # but when using the up/down channel arrows, goes straight to channel 3

You are using a universal remote control I assumes. Try with an other setup code. Some setup codes might not work for all button actions properly. Choose an other code, which will give you maximum functionality.

I have a Sanyo tv ( model #DS19330 ) and using a Sony remote to operate it. I am trying to restore channels 14-69 by scrolling through the channels with the remote. I can punch all channels in by...

It sounds like that the TV was set to skip certain channels. You need to rescan for channels or manually edit the channel list. To manually add channels, press Menu on the TV (or the equivalent key on the Sony remote if you found a code that works). Then use the Up/Down arrows (channel change keys) to select Ch Scan Memory + . Then enter the number of the channel (numerically or up and down arrows). Press + (volume + key) to change the setting from Deleted to Added or vice versa. Since you do not have the original remote, I'm not sure if the Sony remote will match the Reset key of the original remote. Unfortunately without that key being pressed twice, you can't reset the entire channel list and cause the channel search to begin automatically.

The manual for the DS19330 TV is here: http://www.sanyotv.com/DS19330%20%28ESF%29%203764--.pdf . (I'm assuming you haven't recently added cable after only receiving only OTA signals. If you have changed inputs like that, you need to go through the menu and change the source.) Menu > Cable or Air .

I hope this helps.

Sharp TV-Remote not working correctly

You will need to complete a channel scan from the tvs menu. I assume you have basic cable and that your cable company is still providing analog channels for you to be able to pick up any transmission on this telvision with the digital changeover and all.

Channel buttons change input

Auto channel search is your friend. Once the tv has been through it and finds active channels, your channel button should work the way you envision.

The TV automatically cycles through all of the available channels and stores them in memory.
In rare cases, "Auto program" may miss a few channels due to weak signals and the channels may
