My camera shows that the date and time are set up but date does not print on picture when developed.
it's a new camera and I just developed my first set of prints and there is no date on any of them. ...
On digital cameras, the data is stored with the filename. Check the back of your prints to see if the dates were not printed there. Most companies do put at least the date information on the back of the prints as well as any other metadata stored with the file produced by the digital camera. Unlike film cameras, which could only record the date by actually putting it on the picture, digital pictures contain metadata that can include things such as people tags, location tags (geotagging), etc. depending upon the capabilities of your camera. The date and time is always stored along with the filename on all digital cameras. If the company that printed your pictures did not include the date on the back of the picture, ask them if they can do it or find another source to print your pictures that can.
