Hi everyone, I am having issues with my BB red indicator light is keep flashing, Was wondering way this keeps flashing and the BB is off but it keeps flashing the red indicator. Thanks for the help. but suddenly my BB of blackout but there is a red indicator light that is keep on flashing.

    i already charge it 30 minutes but still blackout but it keeps flashing the red indicator 3x

that's a sign of critical low battery. Charge the battery or your BB and problem would be solved.

    Remove the battery, fix it back, then try again. I just hope your battery hasn't developed any fault. To confirm, borrow a battery from a friend, and test it with your BB. Send me a feedback so that I can know what next to do....

The blinking red light usually indicates there is a new message(email, text, blackberry instant messenger, etc). Verify that there are no new messages.

My new BB Bold 9700 battery suddenly drained while plugged in?!?!
keeping it plugged in shouldn't have hurt the battery. i would return it if you have a warrenty left... otherwise i would connect to bb desktop mngr and reset to factory settings.(origional settings your phone came with)

Blackberry bold suddenly shut down
Lots of battery issues with the Bold. Try taking the battery out, keeping it out and connecting to PC with USB. Do any lights come on? Red light should appear. Put battery in while connected to USB.

Another fix that I found for a friend-leave the battery out of the unit for a day-put it in and plug in power cord or USB. It worked.

the flashing red light indicates a cooling problem,you should call honest local appliance repair shop(not sears they rob you blind)one other thing to try is to unplug for 5 minutes then plug back in and see if it reset sets itself,could be just a board reset issue,let me know-mike
