samsung motherboards are bad for going out. they are 125 dollars online, if you have the technical skills to replace them.. basically just plug and play, with LOTS of screws to take off.
Sir reset the lamp hour meter if you replace the lamp. Aim the samsung remote at the front panel where the infrared sensor is located, press the following keys on the remote in this order, Mute, 1,8,2,Power. Wait until the your tv screen lights up with the words "loading factory" on it. Press the "down" direction pad on the remote to select "option" from the list of choice that appears on the screen. Press the "enter" button on the remote, select "reset lamp timer " from the list of choices presented on the screen. Press the "enter" button on the remote. Turn off the TV
with the remotes power button. Then wait at least five minutes before turning ON again your tv hope this helps good day and best regards.
Since your TV is a DLP, it could be the lamp or the color wheel. The flashing lights are a service code. Some TV manuals will describe the code and others require a service manual for the codes. Either manuals can be found online at a reasonable price. Here is a site I use.
My sharp DLP allows for the user to replace the lamp pretty easily so there is a chance you could be able to replace yours if that is the problem. The color wheel is a different story. That will probably require a service technician.
check the lamp if you havent changed it before that would be the easiest place to start. if the lamp is popped you will see glass pieces rolling around in the lamp.
