Black (no colour) printing setting Ebson Stylus CX4800

I can't seem to adjust the printing to only black and white. Too expensive to always print in colour for nothing. How do I change setting. Also, my black cartridge is full but 2 colours are empty. Can I print black and white without replacing these?

Ask to print, when printer screen comes up go to properties on the top right then advanced on the bottom right (it'll ask if you really want this --you do) then on the bottom left there is a box to mark for black and white only

I have an Epsos Stylus Photo R265 printer. I want to print a Word doc in b&w not colour. How do I turn the colour setting off for the printer? [email protected]

After pressing print, when you're on the print page, click "Printer Settings." You should have some color settings, one of them being black and white.

My black ink is not printing, I know that I need to replace my color inks.

Some printers won't print unless both cartridges are present.
Find your manual here if you need to.

My Epson Stylus CX4200 will not print because my Cyan ink is out. I tried printing in black and white only but still won't print because of the one empty cartridge. Is there any way I can still print...

I have a CX4800 and after clicking Print, I click Properties, then check Black ink only (is this how you are printing black and white - or is your document black and white)
If you haven't tried this option - it is worth a shot.

Hi!

I'm afraid that most printers nowadays simply refuse to print unless you have ink in BOTH cartridges. No workaround. At least with an
Epson you have the possiblily of buying much less expensive generic refills...If you do this always try and find reviews of the brand of refills...caveat emptor! (buyer beware)

Black printing incorrectly

check whether there is an alignment adjustment in the printer driver, the lines may simply be one nozzle out of alignment., or the connector between the print carriage and cartridge may be dirty, causing that one nozzle to misfire

not a guarantee, just something to check
