I have an MD500 heli which was flying fine then went down not from a great height as has hovering about 3 feet off the ground. Now it wont fly. It started omitting a high pitched tone and the two mini servos go into opposite lock and wont move from there till you disconnect the power. They can be moved back to a neutral position but once you connect power they lock back again. There is no drive from either motor. It is as if the receiver is telling them to push but nothing stops them. I have tried re binding the transmitter but to no availe. Any help would be greatly received.

That doesnt seem to fit with my problem, i will re write and hope that will to be more of an explanation to you.Model MD 500 hughes co axial helicopter from Blitz rc works.
I was flying the helicopter when it just droped from a hover with a high pitched noise and the lcd light on the top was blinking rapidly. I disconnected the power and then reconnected it and with that the two servos went into full lock and the whining returned. There is no drive from the motors and there is no resonse from the transmitter. It just sits and whines at me. I try tried re binding the the transmitter and receiver but that wasnt done anything. The lcd light on the PCB flashes red and green then goes to a constant red light.

Hi there.
It is likely that the ESC or the little box that sits between your receiver box and servos/motor has gone belly up. This device controls not only motor speed but the action of any servos connected to it. Essentially it interprets the signal it gets from the transmitter and turns it into physical movement of the servos. If this device has died, or is damaged, those interpretations will not be correct or accurate. I would look at trying to replace this part first.

Hi, well form what you describe, it would seem as though you have had some sort of, after, the receiver failure, in particular the servo driving discriminator, has failed, (Quite common).
There is no real "Fix" the only way to remedy this issue is by replacing the receiver in it's entirety :(
Well that's unless you have a surface mount rework station and access to the IC's, & semiconductors, that need replacing? In that case it's a simple fix? not.

Please inspect the balancing needle at the top. Bring this into its original position. This will balance the helicopter. Then it will work fine again.

My helicopter will not hover!

If I understand what you're describing, the heli will fly properly at the start of each flight then becomes non-responsive and crashes. When you begin again, the same thing happens.

If that's correct, then it sounds to me like the heli is flying out of range of the transmitter. Check the batteries in the transmitter. If the batteries are ok, then check the distance to be sure you're staying within range. If you are within range, are you remembering to turn on the transmitter before connecting the heli battery? Did you properly bind the heli to the transmitter? Any other flyers in the area that could be causing interference? Power lines nearby?

Another thing, if it does fly out of range, and if your heli is properly trimmed, it should stop and hover. If it's not doing that, then check that your controls are in the proper position before connecting the battery.

Hope this helps.

We have lost our instruction manuals for our rc heicopters. is the small tail propellar supposed to spin? we can't get them to liftoff the main propellars seem to be working fine.

Sadly, Bob is incorrect here. In a coaxial helicopter, the main rotors spin in opposite directions, equalizing the centrifugal force and allowing the craft to hover without spinning, fine-tuned by the adjustment of the trim control. The counter-rotating main blades and internal gyroscopes provide a stable hover, while the tail rotor serves only to push the rear of the chopper up or down, providing the forward/backward thrust. If you are not moving the right joystick, you tail rotor should be stationary, or perhaps moving lazily from the wash of the main rotors. Sounds like a charging issue. What type of charger are you using? Also, Li/Po batteries are not meant to be fully discharged. Fully draining a Li/Po too many times, ESPECIALLY when they are new, will ruin them. Luckily the batteries on an 032 are easily replaceable. Available on Amazon and many other online retailers, and replaced in about 1 minute with only a small screwdriver. With a new Li/Po, charge them FULLY with the correct charger, and always stop the flight as soon as you are having to give it full power to maintain altitude. Also CRUCIAL is you MUST MUST MUST let the battery rest and cool for after a flight, wait a good 10 minutes BEFORE you connect the heli to the charger, and another 10 minute cool down after charging before you fly.
Hope this helps

My 9053 lifts off fine goes left right and reverse. but it goes reverse also when i want to go forward . Tail rotor turns at what appears proper rpm. and it changes direction when i push stick from reverse...

I own this heli also. The problem is that the tail rotor does not apply enough push to tilt the heli forward. It is this forward pitch that moves the heli forward. Aside form buying a stronger tail motor, upgrading your battery etc, the only thing you can do id this:

Get a credit card, a pair of scissors and some tape. Cut a couple of strips from the credit card about 2 1/2 - 3 times wider thhan the tail rotor blades and the same length. Now tape the strips to the top of the tail rotor blades. Make sure you don't increase the length.

This will help a little by providing more air push when the tail rotor in engaged. Without some serious modding, this heli will never be great.

I have more fun flying my micro size syma helicopter in the garage then I have flying my volitation. If there is even the slightest breeze, the volitation will float in the direction of the breeze and will not fly against it.

Hi, I just bought your product SYMA s107. I took it out of it's box and I started flying it. At first it was flying great but after a couple of minutes it started to not even lift of the ground. I charged...

you should have charged your heli BEFORE 1st flight.......anyway,,plug computer end of usb charge
cord into computer......turn heli OFF....before you plug cord into heli look at computer end of cord,,
should be bright red light inside......now plug other end of cord into heli.....bright red light goes out!
when heli is fully charged bright light on computer end of cord comes back on......disconnect
heli right away.....if left on charge your battery could wear out....it takes about 50-60 minutes

How do i fly my spin master air hog rc helicopter all it does is go in circles

If its a Reflex twin rotor Heli use the trim wheel on top to counteract the spin and at least stabilize the craft at hover. Then use the right/left froward backward fans to control flight, (right joystick on the controller). These fans are not very powerful so don't expect alot from them other than turning the craft right left and reverse. Seems there is too much down draft from the rotors to effectively move the Heli forward. Not a real good design. The Sharpshooter is easier to fly but uses the batteries in the controller as a charger so they don't last real long.

Havoc heli frequency

You only need one frequency to be able to fly it. So it's working fine.
