Hello,
Games are made very OS Specific. Modern Games are mostly Windows XP, Vista & 7 compatible.
Old games, one ex. is the game you are telling, are made for old version's of windows such as Windows 95, 98, 2000, etc. As Windows 7 is the most recent and the most advanced OS in the history of Windows, thus the game " Earthworm Jim " will not be supported.
Also, there are many games which are not at all old, but stand unsupported on the 64 bit version of Windows. It is seen sometimes that old games run on XP and very rarely on Windows 7 32 bit edition.
I advice that you try to run the game on XP or on 32 bit Win7 or you may go for the other modern games.....
Thank You.
Hi, phoogland!
Older products aren't compatible with newer OS. The best way you can play these games is probably by emulating a virtual PC. Try installing Windows 98 on a Windows Virtual PC.
Here's a link to a detailed manual: http://www.essjae.com/virtualization/WinVPC-InstallingWin98.pdf
If this didn't fix your issue please let me know. Hope this helped you!
