Hello,
Games are made very OS Specific. Modern Games are mostly Windows XP, Vista & 7 compatible. Old games, one ex. is the game you are telling, are made for old version's of windows such as Windows 95, 98, 2000, etc. As Windows 7 is the most recent and the most advanced OS in the history of Windows, thus the game " Earthworm Jim " will not be supported.
Also, there are many games which are not at all old, but stand unsupported on the 64 bit version of Windows. It is seen sometimes that old games run on XP and very rarely on Windows 7 32 bit edition.
I advice that you try to run the game on XP or on 32 bit Win7 or you may go for the other modern games.....
Thank You.

Hi, phoogland!

Older products aren't compatible with newer OS. The best way you can play these games is probably by emulating a virtual PC. Try installing Windows 98 on a Windows Virtual PC.

Here's a link to a detailed manual: http://www.essjae.com/virtualization/WinVPC-InstallingWin98.pdf

If this didn't fix your issue please let me know. Hope this helped you!

You may use x64 bit version of os for those games,Usually games works just on x86 or 32 bit Operative systems, switch to 32 bit sys if you dont use your pc as a server :)

I have an Asus M2N68AM-Plus Mobo and a Asus GeForce GTX 460 1028mg video. Onboard video works, but I cant get the board/windows7 Pro 64-bit to read the geforce gtx 460.

your motherboard is not a 64-bit board so it cannot support the windows 7 64-bit version. you should get the 32-bit version or upgrade your ram and then your windows should be able to read your onboard video.

32 bit or 64 bit

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer's processor (also called a CPU), handles information. The 64-bit version of Windows handles large amounts of random access memory (RAM) more effectively than a 32-bit system.

Can I upgrade from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version of Windows?
No. If you are currently running a 32-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 32-bit version of Windows. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 64-bit version of Windows.

Can i upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit on an Acer 5630 laptop?

I would check with the microsoft.com website for this. I believe many computers can be upgraded to the 64 bit version of Windows 7. The limitation, about 1 year ago, was that many drivers were not available on that platform, and many accessories would not work with the 64 bit version of windows 7. However, today, there are many computers coming out with the 64 bit version of windows 7 and that means that probably you could upgrade to 64 bit and most things would work correctly.

Good luck on this upgrade.

Hello there!
Verify, what version of windows you have, 7, 8, 10? then the Bit, 32 or 64, in any case, there is no trick here, just go to control panel see my computer propereties, and see which version of the OS you have, 32 or 64. then contact the software publisher, I am afraid there is no trick . but you can try in Administration mode, and chance the properties on the Magic School Bus Inside , look for the compatible modes. and change to something like windows 7. see if work and run de setup. Good Luck!

I bought a new computer. When I tried to run

To be honest, there are only two options.

1. Go to the sierra online website and see if you can get a 64 bit version of the game

2. Get an entirely new OS of windows (a 32 bit version) and then try installing
