The best way to get you dvd out of the side slot without scratching it is to set the t.v. on a soft surface screen side down. (Carpet works great) Then remove all the screws from the back of the t.v. including the mount stand and take off the 2 panels on the back of the t.v.. One will be in the middle use a flat head screwdriver and lift upwards on the side nearest to the screw, the other on will be in the top left corner do the same here. Then you will want to unhook the wires from the motherboard (they will be bundled) do this by pulling gently on the connecter head (do this as evenly as possible to avoid damaging the pins) remove both connector heads then take the whole back of the t.v. off. After all that you can easily use the white plastic manual dvd release lever. I hope that helps some of you that got this poorly built product. If RCA was thinking about the customer when building this product they would have made a panel right over the dvd player and that would have saved a lot of hassel of course doing what I've suggested will most likely void your warranty and then they wouldn't get to make as much money off you. By the way their customer service is out of Japan and good luck getting anywhere with that.

Dvd won't eject from RCA tv/Dvd combo

While hitting the eject button use a small flat screwdriver or butter knife to ease door open, probably the rubberband like belt broke or the gears jammed up!

Rca l26hd35d has no picture

If the Led stays green and you get 24V on the connector to the inverter it's either the Inverter board or the Display is defective. Take the little panel off on the back , upper left side and check for 24 Volts

2007 35" rca lcd tv L26HD35D has no picture but i

Sounds like it is probably the backlight. Turn the television on and tune to a channel, then try holding a flashlight RIGHT up to the screen and see if you can see a bit of the picture.
