What is the meaning of an F1 error?

What kind of contractor is he? Go to the supplier that the contractor purchased the system from. Or the MFG website, or email their customer service. I'd let them know what kind of contractors are installing their equipment.

New turbo air unit installed in july 11 and the unit will not enter heat mode...not sure what to do...any help would be great

Hi,
This could be a wiring, programming or a reversing valve problem...
Does the remote show that you are in heat mode???
Does the unit come on and run in cooling when it should be heating???
then it is a reversing valve stuck...
if you are not getting that much to happen then it is a programming or unit wiring problem...

When I turn the air conditioner on, the indoor blower runs for about 10 seconds and then stops. After which the red fan symbol on the evaporator section blinks and no condenser. I don't have any fault...

sounds like you may have a shorted capacitor on the fan motor. Hopefully not the motor itself. The capacitor should be in the electrical box and looks like a battery.

I have a Turbo-Air TAS-09-VH with an "E7" error code. What does this mean & how can I correct it? Please contact me ASAP. Thanks!

The 5v control wire between the unit inside and outside is not hooked up or control board inside is bad. Check the cable first. This is your defrost wire. You won't notice anything wrong till it drops below freezing.
