I do not know how to change the date on the camera. Con you help me

Press the MENU button, select the wrench, then select "Date & Time".

You can change the date of your Samsung Digimax A503 Digital Camera. first of all turn your camera on. Now go to the menu by pressing "MENU" button. Now using right arrow key, Go to "Setup Menu". Now using down arrow key, select "Date". Here you can change the date that will be displayed on the captured images and set up the date type.
Here "Right arrow button" select the Year/Month/Day date type and "Left arrow button" is to move cursor to the Date Menu if the cursor is at the first item of the date and time setup.In all other cases cursor will be shifted to left of its current position and "Up and Down button" is to change the settings values. So you can change the date the according to desired format.

The date of your pictures is from the date you took it, So, it must be that last year, May 2010, when took those pictures, your camera's date was not set to 2010. You must also know that when a camera's battery is totally drained and stocked for a long time, the date will be reset. So next time make sure that your date is always right on your camera. =)

But here is a good news. You can just change the dates now after downloading it to your computer. Go to the picture you want to change the date, right click on it and choose properties. Click on details, then "date taken" and change it to any date you want.

Set the top dial to Manual, press menu, press right twice.

I had the very same problem. Well as for the date changing you want to press the MENU button and press the right > arrow button which will then take you to SETUP and you will see DATE/TIME you then press ok (blue button) and you set the date and time whatever it may be.

And finally, to remove the date of of the pictures press MENU and then press the ^ (up) button and you'll see a choice called "DATE IMPRINT" and then press ok and choose the option OFF and the date will disappear.

I have to change my time/date everytime I change the batteries...sorry!

this camera has an internal clock battery, which must keep the date or any other related information while you changing the batteries, the problem is, since you camera is pretty old, the clock battery is probably long dead, it can be changed, but it will require disassembling and resoldering
